Heat that works
The E-CarTrainer simulates the controlled heating of a battery pack, as can occur with defective lithium-ion batteries. The heat generated provides ideal conditions for using thermal imaging cameras in the field.
Training focuses on the early detection of thermal changes, the safe assessment of potential hazards, and the targeted initiation of measures – practical, repeatable, and completely risk-free.
Smoke as in a real emergency.
Deliberately generated smoke around the simulated battery block realistically restricts visibility and makes it difficult to assess the situation – just like in a real fire. The smoke effect challenges emergency responders to operate under stress, heat, and limited visibility.
This allows orientation, team communication and decision-making behavior to be trained under real conditions – intensively, practically and safely.

The controlled ignition of the cells within the simulator replicates the dynamics of a real battery fire.
