AISCO Firetrainer Maintenance

Worry-Free Safety

Regular maintenance of your AISCO Firetrainer is the foundation for successful fire safety training. Routine servicing extends the lifespan of your equipment, enhances its efficiency, and ensures smooth operation.

Additionally, maintenance ensures compliance with DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) 110-010 regulations for gas-powered fire simulation systems.

Why do I need to have my products serviced at all?

The law classifies mobile gas-powered devices (Firetrainers) as explosion-hazardous equipment.

Safety in an emergency is only guaranteed if the operator can prove that the devices have been regularly maintained by a specialized company (manufacturer).

The basis for this is the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) 110-010 regulation on the use of liquefied gas.

To ease your burden, AISCO issues a inspection sticker after each maintenance.

Protection of Life and Health

A gas-powered device is not a toy. Every device wears down with use, even if it is a top-quality product like an AISCO Firetrainer. Since both your employees and customers come very close to the device, regular maintenance is essential.

Significant Extension of Service Life

At AISCO, we build products that deliver high performance—and with proper maintenance, they last a very long time.

Thanks to strict annual servicing, we have many customers who have been using their devices almost daily for over 25 years.

Compliance with Legal Regulations

By having your Firetrainers serviced at AISCO, you comply with the regulations of DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) Regulation 110-010.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have my device serviced?

The law classifies mobile gas-powered devices (Firetrainers) as explosion-hazardous equipment (Source: § 2 Para. 7 of the Industrial Safety Ordinance - BetrSichV).

For this reason, strict maintenance regulations apply, requiring annual to biennial servicing (DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) Regulation 110-010).

How often should maintenance be performed?

We recommend having your devices serviced every year, but no later than every two years.

How long will the device last with AISCO?

We naturally strive to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible.

As a rule, the device will be back with you within 3-4 weeks.

However, after prior arrangement, same-day or within-one-week urgent maintenance is also possible.

Do you receive a maintenance sticker?

You will, of course, receive an annual sticker for your products indicating the date of maintenance.

Can I have my Firetrainer serviced myself or by another company?

This is not possible due to the high requirements for maintenance and safety standards.

Maintenance is often mistaken for a simple leak test, while the electronic control system is completely neglected—which has unfortunately led to accidents in the past.
